The Köhler

Our familial Hotel-Restaurant was founded by my great grandmother Berta Köhler in 1915 as a wine tavern. In the thirties, the 'Köhler' was very common by the so called 'Catcher' who had constant appearances in the city hall on the other site of the street (where nowadays the SWR is settled).

Shortly before the end of World War II our house was completely destroyed. Berta and Hermine Köhler (my great grandmother and grandmother) did the rebuilding time by time. Since 1980 my parents Christa and Manfred were running the business until early 2018.

Since that time, I, Dani, am managing the business of our family establishment in the forth generation together with my husband Andreas and our dogs Woody and Rocky.
